I’m an undergraduate research assistant planning to major in cell biology and neuroscience. I’m eager to work with animal models to learn more about neuroplasticity including how the brain is able to connect importance to specific sounds and become more attuned to them. To me, sound is a way to interpret the world both intellectually and emotionally and as someone who loves music and the emotional experience it creates, I am excited to learn more about the inner workings of auditory cortex with Dr. Kasia Bieszczad and the rest of the lab.
